The UK government has declared coronavirus a "serious and imminent threat" to
public health, as it announced new powers to fight its spread. Considering this
announcement, LS Fabrications want to ensure that the risk to the business and that
of our customers and suppliers is minimised.
We are continuing to monitor developments related to the COVID-19 outbreak and
the potential implications to your/our project and, the health of all staff and workers.
Our approach is and will remain aligned with the advice being provided principally
by the UK Government, Public Health England and the World Health Organisation.
As part of our management plan, to limit the risk of exposure and viral infection, we:
• Are continually monitoring government and health services advice.
• Have increased cleaning regimes and the promotion of the importance of
maintaining high standards of personal hygiene.
• Have and will continue to instruct those people who feel ill not to come to work,
seek advice from NHS111 and remain home until they are well.
• We also continue to assess the impact on manufacturing as a result of delays due
to supply of materials, likely reduction of resources and the like.
LS Fabrications will continue to monitor and take advice from health departments
and this will form part of our ongoing preparation and response plans.
As things are developing quickly, we aim to remain alert versus alarmed, and be very
aware and informed so that we minimise disruption to our business whilst looking
after the health of all our staff and workers.
We will continue to monitor the situation closely and provide updates to you as
necessary.
